I recently purchased these Norpro 431 4-Piece Silicone Ice Pop Maker Set. I put the smoothie leftovers in them and stick them in the freezer. They are the perfect addition to school lunches and a sneaky way to help your kids eat more fruit and vegetables.
- 3 cups packed greens (spinach, kale, chard, etc.)
- 1 banana
- 1 avocado
- 1 cup frozen fruit
- ⅛ cup chia seeds
- ⅛ flax seeds
- ½-3/4 cup water or milk (depending on how thick you want your smoothie)
- Pour all ingredients into the blender and blend until mixed.
- Pour into cups and add a fun colored-straw.
